Generally speaking hair dye can cause hair problems, including, as you mentioned, hair thinning. Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a hair dye product that contains biotin vitamin; however you can still use biotin supplements. What you can do is try to use less toxic hair dye products. Also, it would help if you would not dye your hair too often. Let’s say once in 4-6 months. If I were you I would stay away from hair dyes that contain Resorcinol, Ammonia, Persulfates, Hydrogen Peroxide, Lead acetate, 4-ABP. Just go for products marked as “Natural”.

I am a 65 yr. Black woman my hair has always been thick, but lately it is thinning in the top and sides where it is graying , I have been using a permant dye but I think that helps it to thin more, is their a hair day with Biotin in it ???any assistance will be appriciated, or any other suggestions.
