Hello everybody, in this post I am going to tell you how I got my hair to grow, what I did and how I did it, besides just using Biotin supplements. So, you can take ideas of whatever I have done and see if it helps you out.

Firstly, I want to tell you that I feel that my hair is not long at all. I don’t think it is at a decent length right now, but it was like 5 centimeters long when I had my last hair cut (yeah, I know, it was really short) and now, after 4 months I think, I am at shoulder length.  So, here is what I did to make it grow so fast.

  1. I used Biotin supplements on a daily basis. I took one 5000 mcg pill every morning after breakfast in the last four months.

In the first 30 to 45 days I didn’t see any results but after that my growth rate really started to increase quite nicely.

Also, the texture of my hair is different and it feels stronger now.

  2. I started to use wide tooth combs. I don’t use fine-tooth combs anymore. Maybe on some occasions when I am flat-ironing my hair, but most of the time I use brushes when I am flat-ironing, not to detangle my hair.

  3. I started conditioners more than before. Using conditioners is the key to help your hair grow and stay healthy. If you don’t keep your hair moisturized it will dry off and starts breaking, causing split ends, therefore stop growing.
  4. Make sure to read the ingredients list on each product you are buying and using on your hair.

Stay away from chemicals and buy products that are water based, especially when you are after moisturizers.

  5. I used a mix of different oils to keep my hair moisturized. I used African Best Oil, Coconut Oil and African Shea Butter.

So, that is what I do to keep my hair healthy. Biotin for hair growth, conditioners and oils for keeping my hair moist and prevent breakage.

I hope this has been informative, thanks for the time.
